Who shrunk my shop?

The Indian retail sector registered the highest loss due to shrinkage in the Asia-Pacific region in 2007. At 2.9 per cent of retail sales, India 's shrinkage or stock loss between manufacture and its point of sale undoubtedly is cause for concern.
After all, in terms of it retail value, this translates to a staggering rupees 9,691 crore!
